Who is messaging you

Pipe Daddy is a multi-tenant operations platform built and operated by UBC Tech Services LLC (DBA Hella Intelligence, hellaintel.com) on behalf of independent plumbing, drain, and home-service franchises. When you receive an SMS through Pipe Daddy, the sender of record is the franchise serving your address. Hella Intelligence operates the SMS platform on behalf of that franchise.

Messages are branded so you can identify the franchise. Example: "Roto-Rooter Pocatello via Pipe Daddy: …" or "Pipe Daddy on behalf of [Franchise Name]: …".

How consent is captured

You opt in to SMS by submitting the service-request web form at pipe-daddy.com/leads/new. Immediately above the submit button, the form displays the following disclosure verbatim:

"By submitting, you agree to receive transactional SMS and email about your service request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."

Clicking the submit button records your affirmative, voluntary, written consent to receive transactional SMS about the service request you just submitted. At the time of submission we record a server-side timestamp, the source IP address, and the version of the disclosure displayed. We retain these records as proof of opt-in.

Consent is voluntary. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase or service. If you prefer not to receive SMS, you can call the franchise directly to request service by phone, or contact Pipe Daddy support at sales@pipe-daddy.com.

What messages we send

Messages are transactional only and tied to a service interaction you initiated. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS through this consent. Categories include:

• Service-request confirmation
• Appointment scheduling and reminders
• "Technician is on the way" notifications with ETA
• Post-service review prompts
• Recurring-service reminders, if you opted into a recurring plan

Sample messages

• "We got your service request, Linda. A dispatcher will text you within 30 min to confirm a time. Reply STOP to opt out."
• "Reminder, your drain-clearing appt is tomorrow Tue 5/12 between 8am and 12pm at 8721 Bannock Hwy. Reply STOP to opt out. Msg & data rates may apply."
• "Marco is on his way to 8721 Bannock Hwy now, ETA 9:15am. He drives a white service van. Reply STOP to opt out."
• "Thanks for choosing us. How did Marco do? Leave a 1-tap review at pipe-daddy.com/review/abc123. Reply STOP to opt out."
• "Roto-Rooter Pocatello via Pipe Daddy: Annual drain inspection reminder, Linda. You signed up for yearly inspections last May. Reply YES to schedule or STOP to opt out."

Frequency & rates

Message frequency varies based on your service request and any recurring plan you opt into. Typical cycles see 2–6 transactional messages per service interaction (confirmation, reminder, en-route, post-service review). Message and data rates may apply per your wireless carrier's plan. Pipe Daddy and the franchise do not charge you for SMS.

How to opt out

You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying any of the following keywords to any message:

After we receive your opt-out, you will receive one final confirmation message:

"You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe."

You can resubscribe at any time by replying START to the same number, or by submitting a new service request through the form.

You can also opt out by emailing sales@pipe-daddy.com with the phone number you want unsubscribed.

Privacy

The phone number you provide and your SMS opt-in data are used solely to deliver the transactional messages described above. We do not share or sell SMS opt-in data or your phone number with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
