Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Pipe Daddy collects, uses, shares, and retains personal information when you visit pipe-daddy.com, submit a service request, or otherwise interact with the platform.

Who we are

Pipe Daddy is operated by UBC Tech Services LLC (DBA Hella Intelligence, hellaintel.com). Hella Intelligence builds and operates the Pipe Daddy platform on behalf of independent plumbing, drain, and home-service franchises. When you submit a service request, Pipe Daddy acts as both data controller (for platform operation) and processor (acting on behalf of the franchise serving your address).

Data we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Contact details — name, phone number, email address, and service address you provide on the service-request form or by phone.
• Service information — a description of the service you requested, scheduling preferences, and any notes you add.
• Consent records — server-side timestamp, source IP address, and version of the consent disclosure displayed when you submit the form.
• Communications — SMS and email messages sent and received as part of fulfilling your service request.
• Site usage — minimal analytics (page views, referrer) gathered to operate and improve the site.

How we use it

We use your information only to:

• Dispatch and fulfill the service request you submitted.
• Send transactional SMS and email about your service request (see SMS Consent for the detailed scope).
• Maintain proof-of-consent records as required by applicable telemarketing law.
• Operate, secure, and improve the Pipe Daddy platform.
• Comply with legal obligations (tax records, subpoena response).

SMS opt-in data

We do not share or sell your SMS opt-in data, mobile information, or phone number with any third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and SMS opt-in consent records are used solely to deliver the transactional messages described in our SMS Consent & Messaging Disclosures. Information you provide in connection with the SMS service will not be shared with or sold to any third party.

We share your phone number with Twilio Inc., the regulated CPaaS provider that delivers the SMS on our behalf, strictly as a sub-processor and only for the purpose of delivering the transactional messages you consented to.

Sharing & sale

We share information only with the parties below, and only to operate the service:

• The franchise serving your address — to dispatch a technician and complete your service.
• Sub-processors operating the platform — Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), Supabase (database), Vercel and Cloudflare (hosting), Stripe (payment, if applicable). Each is contractually bound to use your data only to provide the service.
• Legal compliance — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not share SMS opt-in data or mobile phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described above and to comply with legal obligations. SMS consent records are retained for the longer of (a) the period required by applicable telemarketing law, or (b) three years after you opt out, whichever is longer. You can request deletion at any time using the contact below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email sales@pipe-daddy.com. We respond within 30 days.

Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest, row-level access controls at the database, audit logging, and least-privilege access for staff. No system is perfectly secure; in the event of a breach affecting your personal information we will notify you and regulators as required by law.
